Baby Sunsuit

Just to show you, I am not constantly making sweet, and weight gaining yummy treats 😉 I am super proud of this project. I learned how to smock/shir with this! Something that had always made me feel a little concerned. In fact I had put off trying this pattern for that very reason!  I think it looks so cute on DD#5! And of course, this awesome fabric will be perfect for July 4th 🙂

The one thing I am upset about… I few minutes of inattention to what I was actually doing at the time (this happens frequently with five young children!), and I accidentally shir the outside of the left leg. I didn’t notice until I took this photo either. *sigh* Oh well, at least it’s a co-coordinating colour and well… most people shouldn’t be looking that closely to my daughters thigh!

I also salvaged the snaps from an old onesie I was about to throw out, so I didn’t have to worry about getting the snaps in the right place. So that was a win there too!
